Michael Stember was inducted with several others into the Sacramento Running Association's Hall of Fame. He was a 10x All American at Stanford. Broke the 4 min. mile 10x, was on the 2000 Olympic Team. Held school records at Stanford in 800m and 1,500m. 2x state champion in the mile. Gold medalist at the junior PanAm Games.
Stephen Tamaribuchi worked with him throughout his running career since he was in high school.
